Downtown C-Town. I love to take pictures of bike rides and downtown Charleston is a very happening place. It's just incredibly beautiful. I took Meeting Street in today which is rare for me. ![]() I usually take East Bay to Wonders Way and do at least one lap over the Bridge before getting espresso. Today was not just an ordinary day I'd find out. I was destined to meet someone. No not her. I did think she belonged in the scene because she was shopping and King St. is pretty. I meant nothing by taking her picture as well as these folks on the left. I believe all can see that these are just scenes with no criminal intent. I think this is a fine pic. A pretty lady selling "Italian Ice" and a well dressed man walking up the street. The pictures are "on the fly and I can never tell what I'll end up with. I believe there's no criminal intent here. I think it good to include workers who make a lot possible. More tourists I presume and a bicycle is chained to a sign. I love taking pics of bicycles. Bicycles are art. People on bicycles are moving art. Crepe Myrtles and old Charleston homes.. I'll break cycling laws and get on the sidewalk. Nobody was on the sidewalk and I wouldn't scare animals. No malicicious bad conduct here even though I photograph two nice asses. Running artwork! No intent to harm anyone, just recording my day. Earlier I broke another rule. I moved off the road into a parking lot to allow a different Fed-Ex by. I wasn't spying on this boat out in the water. I was taking innocent pictures. I hope I was not intruding on anyone's rights when I shot this photo. ![]() I added more sky to include the fisherman on the left when I straightened this pic. ![]() I didn't put weird anatomical parts on this statue. No foul here. I meant no harm to the ladies you can barely see on the left. It's just a scene at the Battery. Nobody on any of the carriages jumped off to hit me or anything. I think the horse was okay with the pic. Nobody to complain here. But could it offend someone? You never know. Here's another pretty vender selling "Ice" on a hot summer day. Still I mean no harm. Here I even take a picture and the vender is missing. Kids are playing in the fountain. It's worth recording. Here's a huge, funny looking machine being pushed around by a tug boat. I hope there's nothing sexual or otherwise offensive to anyone. It's water, it's Charleston. Will something disgusting and harmful to someone happen here? Nope. Just that little tug boat pushing that thingamajig. A cyclist appears. I take a picture. The picture is taken on one of the most public places in the area. Sometimes I take a picture of the signs to show others who are not from Charleston what takes place here. Wonders Way is a beautiful, well thought out monument to cyclists and pedestrians. I want to say "come and enjoy". It's pretty. It's safe. There are people here all the time. The temperature is almost always nice here. This rider went up and came back having a good time and smiling. But the picture above was not the last picture taken. I took a picture of a woman on my way down and on her way up just past this cyclist. I rode down on my bike as I was and returned to make another "lap". When I was passing her she told me to stop. She asked my why I took her picture. I told her I took pictures of the bridge and she happened to be there. She told me I'd better not ever take her picture again. She said a lot very meanly in a short time. I told her I didn't want a picture of her and that I would erase it. She continued her berating me until I said, "why don't you stay home?" That's all I said. I tried to comply with her wishes. She said, "No, how about you stay home? How about I punch you in the face?" Ladies don't provoke anger in someone else. Don't blame other because you don't have the face or butt you want. Don't blame others because you leave your house with an unflattering body, head, and you dressed yourself. I've seen this scenario played out before. You have a bad day. Your muffin was stale. What was the real problem? You push and prod until you get a reaction that justifies you being psychotic. It's the way some women steal fortunes. It's the way some women put men in jail. Most women aren't this way. I'm smart enough to not fall for this. I've seen this played out over and over. You harass a complete stranger for no reason. You're mean and stupid. You wreak havoc on anyone and everyone near you whenever things don't go right for you. Nobody wants a picture of you. Nobody that knows you wants to be around you if they have a brain. I didn't erase the picture. This is evidence for when you provoke someone to do something by hitting them in the face. This woman will hurt some people. This is the only evidence I have for when her crime is committed. I feel for anyone who crosses her. Now for some disappointing road. It's new pavement but some things never change. It's a wide road but who wants to ride in this "new mess just like the old mess"? Spruill is very wide here but the rocks and debris make it un-ride-able near the side of the road. What a waste of road.
