I believe this is it, or something simular.

The polls are preparing to close so get your two cents in now.

We're getting close to a decision.

There were some requests for yellow or maybe another color.
I want mostly for the Coastal Cyclists to get the jersey "they" want.
So I've installed some yellow, orange, and even salmon.

It may be one of these yellow jerseys.

Please study the colors and the font and voice your opinion.
Send me an email: gr8bikn@comcast.net

Above is a medium dark yellow jersey.

The jersey is a light yellow with solid black font.

The front of the jersey is above with white font with black trim.

The yellow above is reaching neon yellow almost.

I consider this jersey above a very old retro Tour De France Yellow.

The Orange above is meant to be the retro orange that Eddy sported on his bikes back in his day.

Above is a "salmon" color. Below is a yellow with the blocker font.

Just to muddy the waters a little more about the design I've made this prototype right below.
Perhaps the SC moon could go on the left sleeve.

It seemed that the word cyclists needed to be mention once.
"Coastal and Summerville" in the same font speaks on unity., Perhaps each faction needs its own identity.

I'm just trying to represent more ideas.

REAR
The Coastal Jersey can certainly be amended and I hope so by a democratic process.
The above is just my last rendition as of June 12. 2008
The above looks okay with some waves I created completely from scratch.
The rear may look better without waves at all .

FRONT
The front should not have all the logos that are shown for a cleaner look.
I believe only the "Coastal Cyclists" logo should be on the front.
Looking at it a lot may influence my opinion.
I believe the FRONT looks better as below without any border at the bottom.
I've changed the collar to a solid color. Dark blue or black would be nice.
The trim on the sleeves might look good in solid black.
It could match the black "co-exist" on the sleeve.

Full wheels down to pocket level front and rear.
I put a couple more "half wheels" to fill out the front to the bottom.
It could look okay with no waves but full wheels all the way down front an rear.

These opinions below are my own and they are only opinions.
I'll change anything the club desires.
These are only prototypes and nothing is in stone.

I tried to take the "best" or the most desired characteristics from both original designs.
The characteristics shown were somewhat voted for at a "Coastal" meeting.

I put more identifiable birds on the final drafts.

I put a "dove on the Earth" on the right shoulder blade. It can be removed.

The jersey just below the first is more decorative on the sleeve as the original draft was drawn.
I'm only trying to give different twists on the same theme for more choices.
I do like the more decorative sleeve but it may take away from the "Coastal Cyclists" identity.
The font for "Coastal Cyclists" can certainly be altered easily.
I tried to put "waves" at the bottom of the jersey.
I'm not sold on any of the "waves" I've found.
I spent a lot of time on the web looking for waves and then altering the ones I found.
Perhaps an artist can offer us a better set of "waves".
The "Summerville Cyclists" logo was missing an "S" on the end. I added an "S".
I removed the "Summerville, SC" written in small print for 3 reasons.
It's too small to be read, the jersey looks cleaner without it, and isn't necessary.
"Charleston, SC" in the bigger font, I believe takes care of the "SC" missing from Summerville.
I removed "here we go" from the Charleston Moves logo. It wasn't legible.
That and anything else can be installed or reinstalled.
Garrett Wonder's name should be reinstalled for those who are not familiar with the ribbon.

I changed the font in the middle of the "Coastal" logo just for another point of view.
You can see how they differ. The original is below, the new font is above.
The waves below are too large or dark to see the logos so I put the logos above the pockets.
The logos certainly look better on the pockets.
I also changed the color of the fonts for LAB and Palmetto Cycling Coalition.
The blues blended into the waves and the writing wasn't as visible.
I'm also trying to hold down the number of colors.
The more colors, the more the jerseys will cost.

You can see that I added better looking wheels than the original sketch.
The original sketches were great. I just prettied up the artist's idea (mechanically-I'm not an artist).

Below, of course are the sleeves.

It was requested that I put an an American flag on the jersey.
There isn't a lot of room. I'd rather see the palmetto tree and moon in "our" colors.
I'm not against the flag. I am a Veteran. I feel this looks better and saves space.
The flag is a block. This is more "eye appealing" in my opinion.

Many votes were cast for the palmetto tree and the "co-exist" peace sign.
The palmetto tree is definitely the signature of SC.
Having it in "our colors" kills 2 birds with one stone.

Below are original sketch designs.
I like the waves on the sleeves but they may be a headache for the manufacturer.
The CC club may consider a sleeve without a band and order armwarmers as well.
I do like matching armwarmers.
